Once a month (usually the last Sunday morning), a group of volunteers spends an hour or so removing rubbish from the Seaford Wetlands and surrounding catchment area. These efforts are part of the Adopt a Spot Scheme, which sees volunteers cleaning up beaches and waterways all over the state.
All volunteers need to view the safety video below before their first visit to the site. Please bring sturdy fully enclosed shoes (gumboots if working near the water), gloves and a grab stick or long set of tongs.
